Update on Members

Brilliant news for Mark Clive!

He has been picked for the 'Olympic Hopes' Team to race in Racice, Czech Republic in September. He will be racing in both K2 and K4 races and has two training camps in August for pre-race training. Good luck to him and the rest of the team. 

Mark had a fantastic weekend at the Sprint National Championship.

Gold Medal (National Champion) for 500m K2 & K4, 1000m K4

Bronze Medal for 500m K1 and 1000m K2

8th out of 42 in 500m K1.

Mark and Matt (Burton) came 2nd in the Junior Men's Assessment race at Worcester with a time of 1:34:22. First were Jonny Tye and James Webster.

Mark came 7th in the Junior Men's Race. Mark was one of the team of 25 to race in an 18km Marathon at Gent in Belgium on 28/29 March. Here he is mid race!

Mark was picked to race for GB at St Laurent Blangy, France in January.  Mark got a great result at what was his first International race and came 15th out of around 80 competitors, only missing out on the making the finals by 5 seconds! At the same race, congratulations to Jonny Tye from Worcester who came 2nd and Matthew Bowley from Burton who came 3rd in their finals.
